6 months after giving birth I knew I had to do something drastic to get my body back in shape. I had worked out on a fairly regular basis (running, weights at the gym) before my pregnancy and was in pretty good shape. I did not work out at all during my pregnancy and now I had an extra 20+ pounds lose. I decided to try JC’s boot camp to kick start my weight loss. Wow….was I in for a surprise! I had no idea that I would love it so much! At first, it was hard for me. JC would say, “Just do what you can” and that is what I did. I followed all his off days suggestions and even started using his online nutrition system to help me with my food. Before I knew it I had dropped the weight!

After getting such fantastic results I decided to start doing personal training with him also. I really wanted that one-on-one time in the gym. His personal training has totally transformed my body. I never thought I could be in shape like this after having a baby. I have not looked this good since my early twenties (back when I didn’t have to try). JC really takes the time and tailors the workout to my specific needs. It is challenging for me but the results are remarkable. I still do boot camp as well because I love the camaraderie with the other boot campers and it is still so much fun for me (I never thought I would say “fun” and “boot camp” in the same sentence).

I definitely plan on continuing to train with JC through my next pregnancy. I know with his knowledge and expertise I would feel completely safe training while pregnant. JC has changed my life and my outlook on exercise. His commitment and support for his clients truly exceeds all expectations.

I remember sending an email that said “I’m 50 and Fat; can you help?”  JC responded with his mantra “There is no such thing as Impossible..The impossible only takes longer…”  It took me 50 years to get totally unfit and I didn’t expect overnight changes.  I needed to make a commitment to getting in shape and I started with JC’s personal training sessions.  I have seen great improvements in my weight, measurements, muscle tone, energy and attitude.  Every session is a unique and varied routine with focus on my goal of an overall healthy fitness level.  It’s a lot of work and a lot of sweat and it’s not always fun, but JC is an incredible motivator and keeps the routines challenging.  He’s always prepared, he always shows up and he always has his clipboard in hand with a knockout routine for the session.  I’m not finished yet, but with Method Evolution behind me, I’m well on my way to being 50 and Fit; well okay, 51 and Fit !

I started Bootcamp 6 weeks post partum and within 4 months, I had lost all my baby weight and more.
I have tried a variety of workouts (cycling, weightlifting, aerobics classes) and nothing got me the results like Bootcamp did.
The workout was fun and motivating, rather than something I dreaded doing.
At one point, I lost so much weight and was so fit that I could no longer rely on the scale for measuring results, but rather, had to move to body fat analyses as a motivator.

I’ve always been a very active/athletic person, but after having my 2nd child, I didn’t do much of anything.
I had that “need” to be physically active, but I couldn’t find the time or energy to do it.
I started the boot camp class and I feel so much better about myself.
Just after 2 weeks, I could already feel a huge difference in my conditioning.
I lost weight, but more importantly I’m in better shape and have gained muscle mass.

Boot Camp is fun.
JC gives you a variety of exercises, so it’s not the same old boring thing every day you work out. All the exercises, even though odd sometimes, really work out every part of your body. This “different” type of workout makes it fun to get into shape and stay in shape!

The word Boot Camp is enough to scare some people.
They hear the word and think pain and abuse. Well, they don’t know the Method Evolution Boot Camp!
When I think of Boot Camp, I think of friends, camaraderie, challenges and SUCCESS!
Sure, there’s sweat and some pain, but you can look around and see that we are all working to towards the same thing – our goals. Everyone has a different reason for joining. My reason was that I had been running and training for marathons for the past 4 years and really not getting anywhere.
What I mean by that is that I ran and ran and ran and could not beat a 5 hour 40 minute marathon time. It was pitiful. I thought I was getting better and stronger, but really, I had reached my peak or so I thoughtI decided that I needed to really kick it up a notch and add some core training to my schedule, so I joined a gym and started going three times a week. I never felt like I got a good workout. I’d be there for an hour or more and would end up spending most of the time on the treadmill because I’d have to wait for the machines (and I hate running on a treadmill!). By the time it was my turn, I had pretty much cooled down.

I had done a Boot Camp session with Chad in the summer of ’04, so when I found out that JC was doing Boot Camp again; I knew this was exactly what I needed. It was outside, with a group of people, and early in the morning. Anyway, let’s just say, I’m addicted to Boot Camp now. I haven’t
missed a session since. AND yes, I broke that 5 hour 40 minute barrier and beyond. I did the Texas Marathon Challenge this year. Some of the times worth mentioning are: San Antonio Marathon in November in 4 hours 48 minutes. Dallas White Rock in December in 4 hours and 36 minutes. Austin
Marathon in February in 4:28!!! That’s more than an hour off my best time! I was hoping for a 5:30 or a 5:15, but a 4:28, not in my wildest dreams!! I could not have done it without Boot Camp and the support group I had in my fellow Boot Campers and friends. Something about pushing yourself to your limits at 5:00 a.m. creates a great connection. We are all lost when a Boot Camp session ends;wondering, waiting for the next round. Crazy challenges are thrown at us and we all jump at the chance to do it.
Does the word Boot Camp scare me?
NO, bring it on!
If I can’t do it today, I know I WILL be able to do it one day.

I have been doing Bootcamp for almost a year and a half and I have seen improvements after each session. I have set physical goals for each session and with JC’s help, I have achieved most of them. He has been supportive throughout all of the sessions which has really helped. Don’t get me wrong, there have been days that I haven’t felt like getting up to exercise at 5:00 in the morning. However, the thought that my old body might return has kept me motivated to stick with the program.

BootCamp has been a social outlet as well as a fitness program for me. I have made new friends who share the same enthusiasm for exercise. As a completive person, I have been challenged by the other BootCampers. I have also seen the importance of teamwork since some of our drills are done in groups. JCs style of training is incredibly motivational because of his positive style. He encourages BootCampers to strive for the best and to push themselves. Just when BootCampers think their bodies are unable to stand another set or another lap, JC is able to encourage us to keep on going. Despite the fact that BootCamp is patterned after military programs, JC is not a stereotypical “drill sergeant”. One of the things I most appreciate about JC training techniques is that he does not use derogatory comments as “motivation”.

I plan to continue BootCamp with JC because I am so happy with what the program has done for me. I have seen dramatic changes in my body due to hard work and JC’s motivational style. I have more self-confidence because I know I have achieved so much physically and emotionally. I love the camaraderie of my fellow BootCampers and I am inspired by them each day. All of these reasons make it easy for me to recommend JC’s BootCamp Method Evolution to anyone who is dedicated to improving their body and spirit.

I do boot camp workout 4 times per week – I like the encouragement from the staff and the other clients. Right now I am starting and sometimes last to finish but I get lost of positive feed back that helps me keep going.

LOST OVER 30 POUNDS AND 19 INCHES!!!!
With the variation in your programs, I never know what to expect.
After three months I do not think I have done the same routine twice. I know that when you have designed a workout that you have put time, effort and thought into my workout.

I’m probably not the typical person who knocks on the door of Method Evolution… you see, I didn’t walk in and say, “I want to lose 50 pounds,” nor 20, nor even 10. When I looked in the mirror, I saw someone who looked pretty good on the outside but KNEW that what was going on inside was very unhealthy. I was at one time in phenomenal shape but after 2 devastating shoulder injuries and resulting surgeries, I could no longer play tennis (my favorite sport) and quite frankly gave up for over a year and just sat around. My diet was not stellar to begin with but during this year of self pity, it went from bad to horrendous. To make things worse, my alcohol consumption increased dramatically. So while I only added a few pounds, my muscles atrophied, my aerobic capacity diminished, I had little to no energy and was generally unhappy with my lifestyle. In a little over a month of working with JC and his team of amazing trainers, I’ve lost 4.6% of my body fat – not one pound, but I’ve exchanged that fat for muscle! I’m on a VERY easy to follow and HEALTHY, WELL BALANCED diet. I’ve lost the desire for alcohol because who wants to put in all that hard work at the studio / boot camps to destroy it with empty calories? The constant stream of encouragement through emails etc. not to mention the RESULTS keep me going day by day to become stronger, healthier and the best ‘me’ I can be! When I began bootcamp I saw it as a means of getting fit and doing a little bit of trimming. However, what I got was much more. TWO TIME “BIGGEST LOSER” WINNER
I used to always tell myself in college that if I were to cross the 200 lb mark, it would be because I was working out and gaining lots of lean muscle. Eight years after I graduated, I found myself tipping the scales at 220 and it wasn’t because I was in shape.
With a two year old daughter and a baby boy on the way, I decided it was time for a change.

To help me stay motivated, I helped organize an office “Biggest Loser” competition. The rules were simple…the person with the largest overall weight loss percentage won the pot which was around $400. The money was a good incentive, but the competition was what really drove me to succeed. My starting weight was 218 lbs and the weigh-ins were every Monday for 12 weeks.
Mondays were purposely chosen to make sure we were “good” on the weekends.

I started my change by eating better foods and watching my portion control. My two biggest weaknesses when it comes to eating are portion size and sweets. I cut out sweets entirely from my diet, drank plenty of water throughout the day, ate five to six meals a day, and made sure to get plenty of vegetables and lean proteins at lunch and dinner. My will power was tested many times with snacks or desserts, but I stayed true to my goal and continued on my path to success. I tricked myself into thinking that if I slipped up a little, it would hinder my efforts even more in the long run. I really believed that one dessert would cause more harm in reaching my goals than was worth the instant satisfaction.

While I was changing my eating habits, I also started running. I started by running a mile. Each day I would try to run that mile faster than the day before even if it was only by a few seconds. By week two I had pushed myself to running two miles. By week three, I was running a 5k at least twice a week and filling in the rest of the week with two mile runs around the neighborhood. I made a commitment to myself to do everything I could to lose weight and made no excuse for running. I ran if it was early, late, raining, or even if I was traveling for work.

By week four of the competition, I noticed that I had hit a small plateau with my weight loss. I started looking for other workout options in addition to running to help push me over the edge. This is when I came across Method Evolution BootCamp. After the first early morning session, I was hooked. The hour long, high intensity workout is just what I needed. I felt stronger, had more energy, and left each morning feeling good about myself and the results I was starting to see. The best part about BootCamp is that you do everything at your own pace. There are many different fitness levels and body types in the class, but everyone works out as hard as they can. There is no yelling, profanity, or degrading comments like you might expect when you hear the word “BootCamp”. Instead there is a meticulously thought out training session to maximize your body’s fat burning potential while at the same time toning and sculpting all of your muscles and problem areas.

At the end of twelve weeks, I weighed in at 184 lbs and won office “Biggest Loser” competition. I lost 33 lbs in 12 weeks and by eating right and working out daily. I could not have done it without JC Guidry and Method Evolution.

Several months later, my office wanted to start another “Biggest Loser” competition. Since I got a lot of flak for winning the first competition, I decided to enter this one as well just to prove that the first time wasn’t a fluke. I stopped working out and started eating bad again just to skew my starting weigh in so that I had a fighting chance at winning again. I started this eight week competition at 200 lbs. I knew this time I would need even more help than before to win, so I enrolled in BootCamp and Personal Training session with JC Guidry.

To make a long story short, I ended up losing 26 lbs to win my second straight competition. I am now officially retired from weight loss competitions because I don’t plan on needing to lose weight ever again. In all, I went from 218 lbs to 174 lbs for a total weight loss of 44 lbs. Once again, I could not have done it without the guidance, nutritional advice, and training sessions from JC Guidry. My body has completely changed for the better. I actually have definition in my arms, legs, and stomach. The best part about it all is that I haven’t stopped working out. I plan to get in even better shape by continuing to work out and eat well using the tools and advice that JC Guidry has given me.

I found out about Method Evolution through friends – they had nothing but good things to say about how challenging and ‘fun’ the workouts are. I was not skeptical, rather excited to start, because I love to workout (sounds crazy, but it is a great stress reliever for me, and I like to challenge myself). However, most people I recommend trying bootcamp to are skeptical, and I tell them not to let the words ‘boot camp’ scare you. Although the workouts are definitely not easy, there is no drill sergeant yelling at you when you can’t do something right. You work at your own pace and there are modifications for anyone who cannot do certain exercises. (That’s not to say you can be a slacker, once JC knows your abilities, he won’t let you get by with less than he thinks you are capable of – so he might “push” you alittle).

Since starting boot camp I have increase my endurance A LOT! Now that I do boot camp, I can job more than twice as far as I used to (when my only method of training was paced distance runs). The interval training METHOD works! Also, I have never had much upper body strength, but now, my arms and shoulders are MUCH more toned and stronger. I can ever see a slight trace of some ab muscles – haven’t seen those in years! My legs have also become much stronger and more toned.

JC really cares about his clients – he sends out emails with suggestions for exercises on food days and healthy recipes. He has an open door policy and offers for you to call him any time if you have questions – whether about exercise, nutrition, or even if you are in a restaurant and want to know what your best/healthiest option is.

I have recommended Method Evolution to everyone I know – and most everyone who has tried it has committed to it and also recommend it to their friends.
Somehow, JC manages to make each session different, and never repetitious, so you are always challenged and never bored.

Try it, you’ll be surprised and proud of yourself for what you are capable of (and what you are capable of within a few weeks, months, and years of starting)!

I am always looking for a new, exciting challenging workout. The first Method Evolution bootcamp class that I took, I knew I had found all of these things. Most importantly, JC provides a wide variety of exercises, so you are always challenged and never bored. I have become a regular participant in JC’s bootcamps and have recently benefited from his personal training. I have tried a variety of workouts in the past (weight lifting, running, etc…), but none of these activities resulted in the same benefits that the Method Evolution bootcamp did, My muscle tone is improving, I am losing inches, my clothes are fitting better, I am much stronger overall and I have a ton of energy.

For those considering becoming a Method Evolution client, I highly recommend it. Once you start you will be addicted not only from the dramatic changes in your body, but from the self confidence you will gain in yourself.

In just the 4-5 months that I have been attending your bootcamp classes, I have begun to see a change (or, to use your word, “evolution”) in my own life.
I believe I have Method Evolution to thank for this!! The way I see it, if we are unhappy with ourself, this casts a tone onto everything (and I mean everything) we then try and put ourself into. If I am going to make others around me happy (or take care of others, like my family), I appreciate now that I have to be happy with ME first — Method Evolution is giving me this. I have been working with the crew at Method Evolution for 3 months. Not only have I seen the results JC promised but there have been many other benefits. I have stuck with the exercise and meal plan and I feel so much better.
Since implementing the changes to my diet, I no longer have indigestion and heart burn and Tums are a thing of the past. I must admit it’s been a lifestyle change. I enjoyed the convenience of ‘driving thru’ to get my meals but it came at a cost and it was one I was no longer willing to pay. Once I got used to the changes in my diet I actually began to like it. Somethings took a little longer to like but when my children were younger I would tell them “Liking what you eat is a plus. You don’t have to like it to eat it.” Now eating fresh fruit and vegetables, even cottage cheese and Greek yogurt actually taste good. I also have to admit there are days I don’t want to work out but there are days when I don’t feel like going to work sometimes and I don’t let that stop me from going anyway.

Before I started at Method I was gaining weight but I didn’t know why. I didn’t eat a lot and didn’t eat often. I have since learned that was part of the cause of my weight gain. I now have learned how, when and what to eat. I have a better understanding of my body as a machine and the types of fuel it needs.

I’m still working toward my goal but with the help of my Method Evolution support system I have no doubts I’ll make it.

The team at Method Evolution is fantastic! Each trainer is genuinely and whole-heartedly dedicated to improving the health of their clients, and the training team has gone above and beyond what a “traditional gym” typically offers. JC Guidry, Method Evolution’s owner,
sends regular, almost daily, emails to members with exercise tips, recipes, health updates, nutritional updates, blog updates…you name it, he’s thought of it!

In addition to the training sessions, the studio offers Boot Camp sessions almost every day of the week, nutritional sessions, meal planning sessions, an onsite nutritionist, onsite child care during training sessions, and even video demonstrations on their Web site to provide clients with an array of exercises they could consider doing on their own, during their off days. While the high-intensity, 30-minute training sessions may vary by trainer in terms of training styles (e.g., type of exercises, sequence of exercises, etc.), the impact of the
sessions and encouraging attitudes of the trainers are wonderfully consistent.

Not only is the team is very knowledgeable about the “science” behind health and fitness, but they are excellent at translating that knowledge into applicable sessions that are customized to the clients’ needs and results-driven!

BELIEVE IN THE METHOD!

I’ve enjoyed personal training sessions a couple of days a week for a year. Not to be a cliché, but I’m in the best shape of my life. It’s amazing the results that I’ve achieved with 30 minute sessions. It’s perfect with my busy schedule. No one would guess that I have a 16 month toddler!

I’d say that the workouts are not for sissies, but I was the biggest sissy when I started. I hadn’t worked out in years and was scared to get the one-on-one training. JC and his staff have tailored my workouts to my abilities, worked around some old injuries, and encouraged me every step of the way. One of the things that I love most was that every workout is different and challenging.

Oh, did I mention all the other perks? Emails with encouragement, healthy recipes, off-day workouts, unlimited bootcamps…it is an amazing value!

I have NEVER been to a gym where everyone treats you as if you are an old friend. The atmosphere there is upbeat and calm.

JC, what can I say about his personality and his passion for the industry. This Guy actually talks to you and not at you. He explains what & why you do certain moves and the fact that he cares enough to send motivational messages is great. His team well, they don’t fall short either of the politeness and the caring concern each of them have. IT’s great.

Now the work out are so great, INTENSE but great!!! I truly enjoy in when I have a session but I don’t feel beat up afterwards, Your body gets use to it and it does become easier. Best part if you are a super busy working mom like myself and juggling it all, they work with you and your schedule LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

I can’t say enough good things about JC and the crew at Method. I have had the good fortune of working out with JC for years, and he has never failed in being supportive of my goals. Somehow he and his staff know just how hard to push, balancing encouragement and drive.

Bootcamps are incredible. If you are picturing a stereotype of a yelling, in-your-face instructor, know that nothing could be further from a Method Bootcamp. They are challenging, but always is there a spirit of encouragement, fun and celebration of you meeting your goals.

Personal training is awesome…the absolute most efficient use of your time, and results come incredibly quickly. JC is particularly good at understanding real limitations (e.g., protecting an injury while still providing a full, excellent workout). JC and the whole staff at Method are incredibly professional at all times. I highly recommend Method!!
